Both documentary evidence and our experience suggest that it can take 6 months to 2 years from initial disease presentation to a diagnosis. Early detection of adrenal tumors has become an important clinical issue and is now routinely addressed by ultrasonography (US) as well as computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance tomography (MRT), and angiography (AG).


NLS-scopy is one of the most advanced hardware-based information diagnostic methods available. The NLS approach will greatly improve the early and accurate diagnosis of adrenal tumors. The implementation of state-of-the-art devices equipped with digitally triggered sensors has made it possible to detect any growth in the adrenal gland with a size of about 1 cm, which is comparable to computed tomography in terms of diagnostic accuracy.


Differential diagnosis of benign and malignant adrenal tumors is an extremely difficult process. Patients with symptoms of adrenal tumors should be referred to a specialized endocrine surgery unit, where they will undergo a thorough examination using ultrasound, CT, and MRT, which will greatly reduce examination time and allow for more appropriate and earlier treatment.
